ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Kimberly Lee, 56, was shot and killed outside a convenience store on Burrell Street Sunday morning. Lee was a familiar presence at the corner of Orange Avenue and Gainsboro Road, across from the YMCA, where she could often be seen waving to people who passed by.
A memorial of flowers, stuffed animals, and other items has been left at the corner in her honor.
