SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Solvay man was sentenced in Onondaga County Court on Monday in connection with a December 2021 bar shooting that left one person dead.
Donnell Thornton will serve 25 years in prison for manslaughter in the first degree. On Dec. 11, 2021, Thornton was involved in the shooting death of Ronmaine Fontaine at Laialina’s Tavern. Fontaine was 32-years-old. Thornton turned himself into police on Feb. 4, 2022.
