BLUFFTON, S.C. – The University of Iowa men’s golf team completed the first two rounds of the Colleton River Collegiate on Sunday, finishing the day in fourth place at six-under par. The Hawkeyes were led by a strong opening performance from sophomore Ryan Shellberg, who tops the individual leaderboard at seven-under-par.
“I’m happy with how we performed today,” said head coach Tyler Stith. “We did a good job of managing ourselves over 36 holes and put ourselves in contention. We’re looking forward to the opportunity tomorrow.”
