N.J. man rammed his car into side of Jewish building 5 times, feds say

A Middlesex County man was charged with destroying religious property after repeatedly ramming his car into a side door of a Jewish building in Brooklyn, New York, in January, federal prosecutors said.

Dan Sohail, 36, of Carteret, was charged with intentionally destroying, damaging and defacing religious property at Chabad-Lubavitch.

Sohail was initially charged with multiple hate crime charges, including attempted assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and aggravated harassment, authorities said…
