PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify a driver who fled after a serious hit-and-run crash early Saturday near West Palm Beach.
Deputies said the crash happened after 4 a.m. Feb. 28 at Forest Hill Boulevard and Military Trail, where a 2013 Toyota Highlander traveling south on Military Trail failed to slow down and struck the rear of a 2020 Honda Accord stopped in the center lane. The impact pushed both vehicles through the intersection. The Toyota came to rest on the west side of the roadway, while the Honda rotated and stopped in the southwest corner.
The Toyota’s driver ran from the scene before deputies arrived. He was last seen heading east, wearing a pink shirt and white pants, according to PBSO…
