Jurors in the homicide trial for Dale Warner in Lenawee County heard testimony Feb. 27 linking him to a tank on his property that entombed his wife for years and concerning internet searches following her disappearance.
Dee Warner, a local businesswoman and mother of five, was reported missing in April 2021 after failing to show up for a family breakfast. Three years passed before investigators discovered her remains inside an anhydrous ammonia tank on property the couple owned.
Amanda Isett, a fingerprint expert with the Michigan State Police Crime Lab, testified a fingerprint belonging to Warner was found on the back of a warning sticker attached to the tank, though no latent fingerprints were found on the exterior of the tank itself…
