Texas Mobile Home Fire Leaves Multiple Residents Hospitalized
I woke up this morning reading about a fire that shook a quiet part of Amarillo. Around 4:15 a.m., a trailer home at 2310 NW 2nd Avenue caught fire. When the firefighters arrived just five minutes later, the trailer was fully engulfed in flames.
You can imagine the chaos — the neighbors must have heard the alarms and the roar of the fire. Thankfully, the people living there had already made it out before the first responders got on the scene. That quick escape likely made all the difference.
Because the trailer was so close to other homes, a second alarm was immediately called, bringing in more crews to prevent the fire from spreading. By 4:32 a.m., the flames were under control. The occupants were treated on-site and then taken to the hospital for observation.
