MADISON, Wis. — Madison has a growing need for affordable housing as population growth is outpacing the supply of housing.
To come up with solutions, the city partnered with the Madison Area Community Land Trust (MACLT) to build some twin homes, or duplexes, in the Owl Creek Neighborhood.
The MACLT is a nonprofit that buys land, creates or preserves housing on it, and then sells to low-income and first-time buyers.
