Audubon tries again: New membership pricing launches after holiday backlash

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Audubon Zoo, Aquarium and Insectarium membership prices are going up Monday (March 2), marking the second attempt at installing a new pricing structure.

An earlier rollout drew public backlash when basic family membership costs nearly doubled before the holidays. That plan was temporarily suspended.

In 2026, the Audubon Nature Institute is hiking prices for the first time in a decade, offering three membership options: All Access, Zoo-only, and Aquarium/Insectarium-only.
