GILBERT, Ariz. — The window for aspiring firefighters to join the Gilbert Fire Department is closing. Applications for the current recruiting period are due by 5:00 p.m. Monday, marking the final opportunity for candidates to enter the pipeline for the town’s next wave of first responders.
The department is seeking a new cohort of recruits to undergo rigorous training at the Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility, a regional hub that currently hosts trainees from across the East Valley, including Maricopa and Queen Creek.
