Man accused of posing as fake mail carrier before attacking woman in Seattle pleads not guilty

SEATTLE — The man who prosecutors say posed as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier to get inside a Seattle home and attack a couple in February, pleaded not guilty on Monday.

Ian Alexander Blair, 32, is charged in King County Superior Court with first-degree burglary, first-degree extortion, two counts of second-degree assault and first-degree criminal impersonation.
