COLONIE — Keeler Automotive Holdings, the multi-brand auto dealership group that grew out of Keeler Motor Car Co. in Latham, has acquired three new dealerships in partnership with Open Road Capital, a private equity firm that took an equity stake in the Keeler business in 2024.
Open Road Capital is based in northern Virginia and invests exclusively with auto dealerships. It has a relationship with Bain Capital Credit, a funding arm of the well-known private equity firm Bain Capital of Boston.
Keeler sells new BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz and Honda vehicles, as well as used cars, on Route 7 in Latham, where the business was started in 1967 by Sandy Keeler. His son-in-law, Jesse Hord, is CEO of Keeler Automotive Group…
