HARLEM, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The city of Harlem will hold a groundbreaking ceremony this week for a new park, according to a post on the city’s Facebook page.
Construction is scheduled to begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. on the site of the former North Harlem Elementary School.
The second annual More Than Golf Invitational continued Monday at Old Barnwell Golf Club, with a kids clinic drawing 50 students from Oakwood Elementary and First Tee Aiken.
Plans for the park include a facilities building, playground area, splash pad, pavilion, as well as repaving and sidewalk improvements…
