Gibson County Sheriff’s Office investigating claims of missing evidence

PRINCETON, Ind. (WEVV) — The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating allegations that weapons are missing from its evidence room following a social media post by a former employee.

Sheriff’s officials confirmed the investigation in a statement, noting that a detective is currently working alongside an outside agency and Gibson County Attorney Jason Spindler to resolve the matter.
