Myrtle Beach man arrested for holding victim hostage, warrant says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A Myrtle Beach man was arrested and charged with kidnapping after allegedly holding an individual hostage for approximately twenty minutes.

Eduardo Rafael Velasquez-Molave, 33, is charged third-degree domestic violence and kidnapping.

On Feb. 27, Velasquez-Malave kept a victim in a bedroom for an extended period of time, and not allowing them to leave, according to an arrest warrant from the Horry County Police Department…
