The Marion County Board of County Commissioners is inviting residents to a public meeting to provide feedback on proposed improvements along County Road 484, including the possibility of widening the roadway from four to six lanes around its busy intersection with Interstate 75.
The meeting will focus on a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study currently being performed for CR 484. The study area spans from Marion Oaks Boulevard to CR 475A.
The primary improvement under consideration is the widening of CR 484 from four lanes to six lanes.
In addition to the extra travel lanes, the project is looking to identify multi-modal improvements, intersection upgrades, and new drainage retention areas throughout the project limits.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, at the Marion Oaks Community Center, located at 294 Marion Oaks Lane in Ocala…
