(WJAR) — A Rochester family started a community fund to honor their 11-year-old daughter Madelyn “Maddie” Eitas, who died in an avalanche on a ski trip Feb. 19.
“She was only with us for 11 years. So I feel like it’s just really important to keep her memory alive,” said the girl’s mother Becky Eitas.
