TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Applications for the 2026 Summer Youth Training Program in Leon County are now being accepted, according to county officials.
The program is a five-week program running from June 29 to July 31, allowing individuals aged 14 to 24 to gain job experience by working with a department of Leon County, the Leon County Government announced. All positions will be 20 hours per week and pay $14 an hour, according to officials.
Furthermore, participants will also gain professional development training through the Learn, Earn and Advance Program, which officials described as a program “focused on essential skills such as goal-setting, budgeting, time management, customer service, and so much more.”…
