(COLUMBUS) A man from Racine faces a slew of charges after leading authorities on a high-speed chase that started in Columbus and ended with a rollover crash near Sun Prairie.
On Saturday, at approximately 2:44 a.m., a Columbus Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle traveling on Highway 151 in Columbus for a speeding violation. The driver of the speeding vehicle failed to comply and a high-speed pursuit ensued. A Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was nearby and joined the pursuit to assist the Columbus officer.
The pursuit crossed into Dane County, and the driver attempted to exit at County Highway V north of Sun Prairie. The vehicle was unable to navigate the exit ramp and left the roadway, resulting in a rollover crash…
