Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple recently issued a Cease-and-Desist Order to Jon Andersen for allegedly falsifying documents while applying for a new contractor’s license.
Andersen was later arrested in Jefferson Parish on February 25 on charges of fraud, filing false public records and forgery.
Commissioner Temple issued the order after determining Andersen and his New Orleans-based company, Andersen Design + Build LLC, violated Louisiana insurance and unfair trade practice laws designed to protect the citizens of Louisiana when he doctored inspection records to apply for a new license while his current license was revoked…
