Shots fired call leads to pursuit, arrests

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Two people are in custody after a report of gunshots turned into a police pursuit early Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a call in the 7000 block of South May Avenue. Authorities say a description of a black pickup truck may have been involved in a shooting at that location. Police saw a truck matching the description fleeing the scene, leading officers on a chase. The pursuit ended after the officers stopped the truck by means of a TVI (Tactical Vehicle Intervention) in the 1300 block of SW 58th. Two suspects reportedly ran from the vehicle but were taken into custody. Police say at one point the suspect deliberately rammed the truck into a police vehicle.
