SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – On Sunday, Mar. 1, Shreveport Police were sent to Greenwood Road after receiving reports of an assault and battery.
After arriving on the scene, officers saw the victim— a 47-year-old Black male with face injuries from being hit with a glass bottle.
The victim told officers he had been in a fight at a nearby bus stop when the suspect, Chad Rivers, a white male, approached him. The suspect demanded the man’s shoes, demanded his shoes, and yelled racial slurs at him. The suspect struck the victim in the face with a glass bottle before leaving the scene…
