WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Gov. Laura Kelly directed flags throughout the state to be flown at half-staff Monday in honor of Kansas Rep. John Resman.
According to Kansas House Speaker Dan Hawkins, Resman died Monday at his home in Olathe.
Resman was the representative for House District 121.
“Representative Resman has a decorated history of serving his community, our state, and our country throughout his time in the Army, Kansas National Guard, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kansas Legislature,” Kelly said in a press release.
