The longtime empty space that once occupied Christmas Tree Shops at the Airport Shopping Center might finally be getting a new tenant.
Construction in recent weeks has been ongoing at the site, 916 Airport Center Road, in Hanover Township, Lehigh County. It appears workers are expanding the former Christmas Tree Shops space. That chain shuttered all its locations in summer 2023 following a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
WFMZ-69 News reports steel beams stating, “Hobby Lobby” are being placed at the site. Additionally, the big-box arts and crafts retail giant also is advertising for job positions at the Airport Shopping Center location…
