Albany residents fed up with potholes as crews scramble to repair them

A CBS6 viewer asked why hundreds of people — including National Grid crews and police — have to drive on what is unquestionably the worst road in Albany. The road in question is Mill Road.

Residents are fed up with the potholes on this road — some of which are four to five inches deep. Neighbors told CBS6 they’ve submitted numerous requests over the years, so we reached out to the city to see how they’re addressing the issue.

“I’m very upset because I have to back up. It’s right in front of my driveway,” said Cheryl Rockenstire. “I park and I have to go through those potholes every single day, numerous times a day.”…
