Box Cutter Attack Rattles Bronx 4 Train Commuters

Transit detectives are looking for a woman they say slashed a rider on the Burnside Avenue stop of the 4 line during the morning rush in February, leaving a 41-year-old commuter injured on the platform. Police say the attacker walked up to the woman on the Manhattan-bound side, cut her with a sharp object, and took off. The victim was taken to BronxCare Health System, where she was listed in stable condition.
