Gregory Bufford was among nine people injured during the early Sunday shooting at the Cincinnati venue. He said he arrived around 12:30 a.m. and quickly sensed something was wrong. Less than 30 minutes later, police say gunfire erupted.

“As soon as I took the step, ‘Pow, pow, pow,’ [I] fell on the ground. He pushed me, like, ‘Get down,'” Bufford said, describing how he was standing at the bar with a friend when the shooting began.

“Because you can hear all the bullets. ‘Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba,’ you can just hear them. I’m like, ‘Please God, don’t let me die right now,'” Bufford said. “I closed my eyes, and I started praying. As I started praying, I was praying, and the next thing you know, when I got done praying, I was like, ‘I got to get up.'”…
