MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio (WKBN) – The price of beef continues to rise in Ohio, along with the rest of the country. It’s expected to rise even more in 2026.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, beef prices went up 15% this past year. As we move through 2026, beef is expected to increase by another 5.5%.
“You just do the best you can to give the customer a fair price for the quality they are getting,” said Steve Badurik, owner of Badurik’s Butcher Block. “Things have gone up. Luckily, while beef prices have risen, poultry and pork prices have stabilized and come down.”…
