Chautauqua County has been awarded a $250,000 grant through the New York State Homes and Community Renewal’s Technical Assistance to Grow Pro-Housing Communities program. County officials say the funding will be used to implement key recommendations from its housing strategy that was developed in 2024 to continue building momentum to create opportunities for and encourage new housing development throughout the county.
