A round of cuts has taken place at Adams Radio Fort Wayne leading to the exits of CHR “Hot 107.9” WJFX Program Director/midday host Taylor Morgan and Classic Rock 96.3 WXKE morning host Jack Hammer.
Morgan has spent her entire career at WJFX rising from intern to weekends to late nights. She has hosted middays since October 2018 and became Program Director in 2022. She posted, “After 14 years, my time with HOT 107.9 has come to an end. Radio has been such a big part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for the memories, friendships, and connections made along the way. While this change was unexpected, I’m choosing to see it as a new chapter. Thank you to everyone who listened, supported me, and showed me so much love over the years. It has meant more than you know.”
Hammer joined WXKE in 2021. He was best known in the market from co-hosting mornings at “98.9 The Bear” WBYR from 1991 to 2002 followed by a run in mornings at “X102.3” WXTW from 2002 to 2006. From 2010 until March 2021 he served as Executive Director of the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne…
