FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The City of Fresno announced on Tuesday that it will receive over $10 million to address homelessness in the city.
Mayor Jerry Dyer says that the money from the State of California for the City’s Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Round 6 (HHAP-6) funds. A total of $10,491,196.56 will be received.
“Since the start of my administration, we have provided shelter to more than 11,000 people, more than half of which have exited homelessness,” said Mayor Dyer. “These funds from the State are absolutely critical in our work to address the complex challenges of homelessness.
