KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — Kalamazoo County’s ice sports could face a dire future without more facilities, according to a new report.
Several groups in the area who use local ice sheets commissioned a feasibility study to look into where and how much more ice will be needed to meet its sports needs.
It follows the announcement that Wings Event Center will close in 2028 and that the former Wings West is expected to reopen later this year.
