A 79-year-old woman was killed in a crash on Winter Lake Road on Feb. 27.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. at Winter Lake Road and Camellia Drive in Winter Haven.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said evidence and witness statements indicate Geneva Lane , 79, was driving a 2017 Subaru and attempting to turn left from Camellia Drive onto Winter Lake, when she entered the path of an oncoming 2006 Mercedes driven by James Musselwhite, 57, of Winter Haven.
