St. Lucie County Fair celebrates community roots, agriculture and fun

FORT PIERCE — Under sunny skies Sunday, the 59th annual St. Lucie County Fair continued its tradition of combining midway thrills, agricultural exhibits and local culture at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds.

The fair, running Feb. 27–March 8, draws thousands of visitors from across the Treasure Coast each year with attractions ranging from carnival rides and games to livestock shows and live performances. The fairgrounds at 15601 Midway Road have become a hub for community gathering, where children and adults alike are greeted by the sounds of laughter, music and calliope tunes that define the Florida fair experience.

On Sunday, gates opened at noon, and crowds flowed through vibrant rows of food vendors offering fair classics like funnel cakes, cotton candy and barbecue, alongside local produce and crafts.
