Former student claims she was expelled for reporting gun threat at Antioch High School

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A freshman said she was punished for reporting a gun threat threat. Metro police said the District Attorney’s Office decided not prosecute the case, but she was still expelled from Antioch High School.

Chris Pipkin reached out to News 2 after his daughter Lilith, a freshman at Antioch High School, was expelled in January. He said his daughter was only reporting what she had heard and seen; instead, school officials pointed fingers at her.

“I keep thinking someone, one day, someone’s going to run a background [check] and see she was expelled for some terroristic threat,” Pipkin said. “And it’s just horrible.”…
