Police in Oklahoma are investigating whether a young teenage girl who fell pregnant with twins was used as a surrogate by her mother and her boyfriend.
Oklahoma City police began investigating the case back in December after responding to a report of a possible sexual assault of a then-14-year-old girl at an Oklahoma City apartment complex, local news outlet KFOR reports.
The teenager, who is now 15 and has not been identified, was determined to be pregnant with twins, according to a referral from Child Protective Services (CPS). The victim has not revealed how she became pregnant, according to court documents, but some disturbing details reportedly emerged when her mother was interviewed by police and CPS.
