Clay County Missouri – A Missouri resident is sounding the alarm after allegedly being targeted in a sophisticated phone scam involving a high-end iPhone Pro he never ordered.
The victim reported that last week he began receiving repeated phone calls from a man claiming to work for Verizon, stating that an iPhone Pro had mistakenly been shipped to his home. The caller allegedly instructed the victim to notify him once the device arrived and said a courier would retrieve it.
