Omaha robbery suspect ‘Tank Zilla’ sought by Iowa authorities

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man being sought by Iowa authorities for failing to return to a work-release program also has a warrant for his arrest after he was shot in a botched robbery Monday, according to police.

Zachary Russell “Tank Zilla” White, 25, is described as a white male, 5′7″, and weighs 167 pounds.

White was convicted of robbery in Pottawattamie County and assigned to the Council Bluffs Residential Correctional Facility. He failed to report back Feb. 27, per the Iowa Department of Corrections.

In Douglas County, White also has a warrant for his arrest for charges of robbery, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person – 1st-offense for an alleged incident on March 1.
