St. Louis, MO – Strong thunderstorms could erupt across southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois Wednesday afternoon, bringing the threat of damaging winds, large hail and even a tornado or two during the peak of the day.
According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, the greatest risk for severe storms will develop between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., mainly south of Interstate 44 in Missouri and south of Interstate 64 in Illinois.
