Green Bay superintendent finalists named, dates set for public interviews

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Families and residents in the Green Bay Area Public School District will have a chance to meet the two finalists for district superintendent this week — Michael Hernandez and Michael Trimberger Jr., Ph.D.

People who want to ask questions at the public interviews are encouraged to submit them in writing to the moderator at each event.

Michael Hernandez

Hernandez is assistant superintendent of the Appleton Area School District. He’ll spend Wednesday, March 4, visiting the district schools and hold a meet and greet from 5 to 6 p.m. at West High School, 966 Shawano Ave.

Hernandez is a Harvard-trained leader in Urban Leadership and Instructional Rounds. He supervises Appleton’s high schools, charter schools, alternative program and athletics…
