Albuquerque man accused of DWI crash involving children changes plea

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man accused of drinking and driving while his two young children were in the vehicle and subsequently hitting a motorcyclist changed his plea in court on Tuesday.

Anthony Nez, 28, pleaded “no contest” to DWI with great bodily harm by vehicle, two counts of child abuse, leaving the scene of an accident, and reckless driving. Nez now faces up to three years behind bars.
