SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – A Salem man has been sentenced to over nine years in prison after pleading guilty to charges related to the death of his girlfriend in 2024.
The Marion County District Attorney’s Office says 40-year-old Atilano Davalos III went to a bar with his girlfriend, Carla Vasquez, after she had finished work in the early morning hours of May 23, 2024.
A video found on Davalos’ phone showed Vasquez hanging out of the front passenger side window while drunk. Davalos can be heard in the video telling Vasquez to get back into the car…
