PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — For Portland-area sky observing enthusiasts wanting to see Tuesday morning’s total lunar “Blood Moon” eclipse, your best chance will be east of the Cascades.
While the weather was nice Monday, KATU Meteorologist Dave Salesky said clouds will increase tonight, likely blocking the view of the eclipse for Portlanders.

But the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles plans to provide a livestream of the eclipse, weather permitting, starting at 12:37 a.m. PST Tuesday. Check it out below.
