A Reno man will spend decades behind bars for the 2023 killing of LaMar Jarriett.
The Honorable Barry Breslow sentenced Edgar Hernandez-Jacinto to a total of 40 years in prison for Jarriett’s murder. He will be eligible for parole after serving 16 years.
Hernandez-Jacinto received 10 to 25 years for second-degree murder, along with a consecutive 6 to 15 years for the use of a deadly weapon. Four additional drug-related charges will run concurrently with the other sentences…
