The Sparks City Attorney’s Office has announced that its prosecutor secured a conviction for Domestic Battery against Cory Boteler stemming from an incident that occurred on May 11, 2024.
On May 11, 2024, Sparks Police Department dispatched to a residence in Sparks, Nevada, on a report of a physical altercation between a husband and a wife. Dispatch was advised that BOTELER had placed his hands on his wife, and she had used pepper spray against him in self-defense.
The victim explained that she had finished her shift as a cocktail waitress when BOTELER called her and yelled at her, using profane language. Due to his behavior, the victim activated her cell phone video recording before entering her home.
