WAIKIKI, Hawaii (Island News) — A 76-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was rescued from the ocean at Kuhio Beach in Waikiki on Tuesday afternoon.
The Honolulu Ocean Safety Department responded to an unconscious swimmer in Waikiki at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday March 3, 2026. Lifeguards performed CPR on the 76-year-old woman on shore until Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived.
