ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Town of Ashland City is encouraging all residents to take part in a communitywide “Spring Cleanup Initiative” to address common codes violations.
Led by the Ashland City Building and Codes Department, crews will conduct continued inspections across residential and commercial properties within the city limits.

Common issues reported to Building and Codes include:
- Overgrown grass and lots
- Inoperable or untagged vehicles (including boats)
- Rubbish, unused tires, and sanitation issues
- Fences, sidewalks, parking lots, and signage in disrepair
- Unsafe or uninhabitable structures
Teams have already been surveying properties throughout town, according to Ashland City officials.
If a property requires attention, the owner will receive a certified letter by mail outlining the specific violations that must be corrected, per the town.
