FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Nearly 1,000 I&M customers were without power Wednesday morning in an area near the intersection of State Road 930 and Maplecrest Road where Fort Wayne borders New Haven.
The I&M outage map originally showed an estimated time of restoration as 1 p.m., however power was back on just before 10:30 a.m. The outage was first reported at 8:30 a.m.
The outage was apparently caused by a crash in the area that took down a power line. A WANE 15 videographer at the scene reports the line has been repaired and the intersection is back open…
