Cedrick Exzavius Reese, 45, of West Columbia, has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for possession of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl, and for illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Reese was stopped by a deputy with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department after he was observed speeding and running a red light. After failing to provide his driver’s license, Reese consented to a search.
During the search, a deputy found a clear plastic bag containing methamphetamine in Reese’s waistband. Reese told authorities the drugs were for personal use. Additional drugs, including crack cocaine and fentanyl, were recovered from the vehicle, along with a firearm and ammunition…
