Allegan driver sentenced for death of infant in heartbreaking hearing

ALLEGAN — Terry Lee Boss will serve 13.5 years for second-degree murder, a charge that carries a maximum life sentence, in accordance with a plea deal offered by the “mercy of Christ,” according to victim statements.

Boss, 57, was sentenced March 3 by Judge Emily Jipp in Allegan County’s 48th Circuit Court. He pled no contest in January, after charges of operating while intoxicated causing death and reckless driving causing death were dropped.
